Here at the Fortress we are going to try and donate 20 hearty dinners to families for Thanksgiving. Last year with your help we were fortunate enough to provide 11 families with a full holiday meal. This year it seems times are tougher, so we again are reaching out to you to help those in need. Clothing will also be needed as the cold weather approaches . Gently used clothes for men, women and children are appreciated.Sizes from infant to adult. Toys for the the toy drive should be from toddler to 15yrs, new in the box, and unwrapped. We have posted this in our modeling sites , and will start to book models. The beautiful wardrobe that the designers bring will lend a wonderful flair to your photography portfolios. We will be doing ......High key , low key and of course the most fav, spot "the industrial" * Tyeakia Miles is an International African American Fashion Designer and Jeweler. She was born in Brooklyn NY to her Caribean/Ethiopian father and African American mother. She uses fabrics from all over the world. She has worked and studied abroad in Paris Ballistics NYC (with Lamine Koyate ,Mali) (Xuly-Bet) (Yojihi Yotomoto, Japan). She has also worked in Jamaica and New York.Tyeakia's 2009 Fall/Winter Collection is deicated to Africa's Animals. She has recreated fake furs of endangered African Animals to bring an awareness to their Plight. Zebra, Leopard, Tiger and Cheetah in Coats,well tailored Jackets, Skirts and long Beautiful Dresses. Her 2009 Spring Collection uses traditional and modern African prints, Linens and lyrca in Dresses, Blouses, skirts, jackets, shirts and pants for Men. The Jewelry Collection is Bold and Symbolic using Geometric Shapes and International Symbols everyone can understand. She is currently living in New York with her 4 Children and King Man Lion of Judah Starfire Sound/Ras Tully working with Artists, International Textile Designers, photographers, models and stylists from Africa, Europe, Caribbean and America. Tyeakia Designs 2009 retains her traditional African culture and has modernized the Collection to meet the needs of Today's International Men and Women. Once again The Fortress of The Arts Presents: The Greatest Philadelphia Performing Arts Showcase. The show will be on May 9, 2009 at 7pm. Lite refreshments, Fashion Show, Live performances, and Art Exhibitions will be included. These young aspiring models have worked hard for a semester to perfect the techniques of runway etiquette. Now is the time to strut their stuff and walk the walk, while modeling the industries top clothing designs in the Tri-state area! The theme for our films this time around will be zombie, horror and love/romance!
