Our next F.A.M.E. Meetup event will be held on Saturday, February 16 at 12:00pm at Blue Mesa Grill across from Northpark Center. This date marks our 2nd annual fashion panel and luncheon where we'll have another informative and entertaining panel discussion geared toward answering your questions about the fashion industry. Some of you are trying to break into the industry, and others are currently involved in the industry, but may still have questions. Whether you're an aspiring or professional model, a photographer, a make-up artist, a stylist, a designer, a fashion magazine editor, or a fashion enthusiast, this is an event you don't want to miss. This year's panelists include:

Saul Jimenez De Cabrera - the "New Faces" booking agent with one of Dallas' most reputable modeling agencies, The Campbell Agency. He'll talk to you about some of the things The Campbell Agency looks for in a model, some advice on how to become a model, as well as many other things. As a booking agent, he always has his eyes open for potential talent for the agency, so models, come prepared! The agency also represents make-up artists and stylists. Visit www.TheCampbellAgency.com

Julie McCullough Kim - a fashion designer and the owner of MAKE Boutique, a Do-It-Yourself boutique that offers classes for people wanting to learn how to make anything from handbags to apparel. Julie is the organizer of the popular Urban Street Bazaars held every year. She'll talk to you about how to get started as a designer and a boutique owner, and offer tips on how to be successful in the industry. Visit www.TheMakeSite.com.

Heidi Dillon - the Executive Director of The Fashionistas, a non-profit organization whose mission is to raise funds to support the Texas Fashion Collection and Fashion on Main, Dallas?s first fashion exhibition space. Heidi is a huge power player in the fashion industry, and is personal friends with some of the most well-known designers around the globe. She will give you advice about fashion trends, surviving in the industry, and making a name for yourself in the industry. If you have a question about fashion, she can answer it. Visit www.TheFashionistas.org.

Stevon Gipson - the Managing Partner of F.A.M.E. Fashion Agency can help answer your toughest questions about the fashion industry. He helped build a successful agency that represents some of the hottest designers across the country and international. As a former model, booking agent, and an entrepreneur, Stevon is qualified to share with you some of the things he's learned along the way. Visit www.TheFashionPlatform.com.
